Campbell HR is working with Duracell in the search for the R&D Senior Technical Leader – Alkaline Materials Development. This Senior Technical Leader provides technical and program leadership for the Alkaline Materials Development Group, driving the design, development, and deployment of innovative, cost-effective raw materials that enable competitive alkaline battery performance and manufacturability.

This role serves as the Duracell Subject Matter Expert (SME) for alkaline raw materials, leading cross-functional collaboration across R&D, Procurement, Supply Management, Quality, Engineering, and Product Launch. The position requires deep technical expertise combined with strong program leadership, supplier engagement, and the ability to translate material science innovations into commercial and manufacturing value.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the introduction and rollout of new alkaline raw materials, processes, and capabilities across existing and next-generation cell designs.
  • Serve as the recognized “go-to” technical leader and owner for alkaline raw materials, providing deep expertise in material selection, performance, cost, and risk.
  • Critically analyze experimental and program-level data to uncover insights, troubleshoot issues, and drive timely, technically sound decisions.
  • Develop and deploy predictive material characterization methods in collaboration with the Analytical Group, advancing beyond established test methods.
  • Lead material understanding across the full manufacturing lifecycle, including transformations during processing and scale-up.
  • Lead delivery of material development strategies addressing business needs through management of large, complex, cross-functional programs.
  • Propose, initiate, and execute program-level plans for technology delivery and capability building.
  • Develop insights from program work to influence broader R&D direction and upstream material strategies.
  • Ensure milestones are achieved and translated into actionable implications for product and process development.
  • Recruit, develop, and manage Materials Development staff.
  • Assign and prioritize work for a small technical team to achieve operational targets and service standards.
  • Apply sound management practices including work planning, scheduling, prioritization, coaching, and execution.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance laboratory and innovation culture.
  • Provide leadership for the Alkaline Materials Laboratory, supporting characterization of:
    • Anode and cathode materials
    • Separators
    • Resins
    • Current collectors
  • Ensure laboratory activities support both near-term product needs and long-term technology capability development.
  • Maintain a strong hands-on presence in the lab as required.
  • Collaborate closely with Alkaline Design Leaders to introduce new materials into current and future cell architectures.
  • Establish and maintain strong partnerships with raw material suppliers, including on-site visits, to drive innovation, cost optimization, and supply resilience.
  • Work with Procurement to identify and introduce materials delivering clear commercial and business benefits.
  • Partner with Supply Management, Engineering, Product Launch, and QA to ensure material specifications, performance, and quality requirements are met.
  • Represent the Materials Group in Competitive Analysis and Patent Review activities, collaborating closely with the Upstream Materials Group.
  • Lead technical programs and represent the team in cross-functional, segment, sector, and external partner forums.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and persuasively through strong written and verbal communication.
  • Interpret policies, standards, and specifications and influence others at an operational level to ensure alignment and execution.

Job Requirements:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or materials science or chemical engineering (required)
  • Master’s degree in chemistry, materials science, or chemical engineering (preferred)

Technical & Professional Experience

  • Broad and deep technical knowledge across materials science, electrochemistry, and alkaline battery systems.
  • Working knowledge of electrochemistry, Design of Experiments (DOE), and Statistical Process Control (SPC) strongly preferred.
  • Experience with manufacturing processes and process control is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical programs and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong program management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Hands-on laboratory experience required, with willingness to actively work in lab environments.

IT Associate HR Business Analyst

Location: San Jose, Costa Rica

Salary: $16.9million CRC

Campbell HR is working with Duracell in the search for IT HR Business Analyst, responsible for the administration, configuration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Oracle Human Resources Information System (HRIS). This role serves as a key bridge between the Human Resources and Information Technology departments, ensuring that the Oracle HRIS platform effectively supports organizational HR processes, data integrity, and reporting needs.

A successful candidate for this role thrives working collaboratively with different cultures and time zones across the globe. 

Key Responsibilities

System Administration & Configuration

  • Administer, configure, and maintain Oracle HRIS modules including Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Talent Management, etc.
  • Manage system setups, table configurations, business rules, and workflow definitions within Oracle HCM Cloud
  • Apply patches, updates, and releases in coordination with Oracle and internal IT teams
  • Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve technical issues
  • Conduct periodic access reviews and remediate segregation of duties conflicts in partnership with IT Security and Internal Audit teams

Business Analysis & Process Improvement

  • Partner with HR stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements and translate them into functional system specifications
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes through system enhancements, automation, and best practices
  • Conduct gap analyses between current system capabilities and business needs
  • Participate in Oracle upgrade projects, including testing, documentation, and training

Reporting & Data Management

  • Develop and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and analytics
  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and security of HR data within the system
  • Support data audits and data governance initiatives
  • Manage data integrations between Oracle HRIS and third-party systems
  • Ensure reporting access is governed appropriately by configuring report-level security, data masking, and restrictions to protect sensitive HR data (e.g., compensation, benefits elections, etc.)

Testing & Quality Assurance

  • Design and execute test scripts for system changes, patches, and new configurations
  • Coordinate and support user acceptance testing (UAT) with HR and business stakeholders
  • Document test results and manage issue resolution prior to go-live

End-User Support & Training

  • Provide Tier 2/3 support for Oracle HRIS-related issues, troubleshooting and resolving user-reported problems
  • Develop and deliver end-user training materials and documentation
  • Maintain a knowledge base of system processes, configurations, and workarounds

Security & Compliance

  • Manage user access, roles, and security profiles in accordance with company policies and compliance requirements
  • Support internal and external audits by providing system documentation and access reports
  • Ensure HRIS data practices comply with applicable regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, SOX, etc.)

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business (or equivalent) with experience on HR processes.
  • 3–5 years of experience as a Systems Analyst or HRIS Analyst with hands-on Oracle HRIS experience
  • Proficiency in Oracle HCM Cloud and/or Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) HR modules
  • Strong understanding of HR business processes including payroll, benefits, recruiting, and talent management
  • Experience with Oracle reporting tools
  • Solid understanding of data management, integrations, and SQL querying
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences

Senior Network Engineer

Location: Costa Rica

Salary: $2.3m-3.7m/Month

Campbell HR is working with Duracell in the search for a Senior Network Engineer who thrives in troubleshooting complex network issues, takes ownership of challenges, and continuously seeks to improve and optimize network operations. This role requires understanding in Cisco ISE, Cisco DNA, Meraki Firewalls & SD-WAN, and Cisco ASA (or similar security platforms).

The ideal candidate is a problem solver who enjoys digging into technical issues, proactively identifying improvements, and working independently without micromanagement. They should have a strong desire to learn, grow, and take initiative while collaborating with teams across different regions.

This position involves supporting global network operations, ensuring optimal performance, implementing security policies, and leading high-impact network projects to modernize and enhance our infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications

  • 7+ years of hands-on Network Engineering experience in medium-to-large enterprise environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze and resolve complex network issues across all OSI layers.
  • Experience designing and supporting Cisco ISE and 802.1X authentication (wired and wireless).
  • Proficiency with Cisco DNA Center for network automation, monitoring, and policy enforcement.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst 9300, 9500, and Nexus series switches (including VSS, Stacking, STP, VLANs, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP).
  • Deep knowledge of Cisco ASA, Meraki Firewalls & SD-WAN, and VPN solutions (Remote Access & Site-to-Site).
  • Familiarity with network security principles, segmentation, firewall rule management, and NAC policies.
  • Hands-on expertise with Wireless (Meraki, Cisco WLC), DNS, DHCP, HTTP/S, SSH, SMTP, and SNMP monitoring tools.
  • Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., OpManager, SolarWinds, PRTG, Cisco ThousandEyes, Splunk, or similar).
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks/projects without needing micromanagement.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems.

  • Experience with Meraki Wireless, SD-WAN, and Infoblox DNS management.
  • Cloud networking experience (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
  • Familiarity with network automation tools (Python, Ansible).
